This luxurious 3 fold charcoal self-tipped tie comes hand made in Italy with silk from the Como region of Italy. Some manufacturers may use a synthetic solid alternative fabric for the tipping as it’s not on show, but Franckino Sartoria ties are self-tipped, where the tip is made from the same material and pattern as the shell fabric. Self-tipped ties require extra fabric and detail within the construction, which is usually means a sign of higher quality during production, self tipped ties are more expensive because you need more material to finish the tie beautifully.
